For years, Exo Legal‘s David Anthony has worked alongside and as a resource to the Tennessee Bankers Association’s legal team, as that organization advocated for legislation to modernize Tennessee’s foreclosure process.

In the 2025 Tennessee legislative session, the Tennessee Bankers Association accomplished their goals, moving much of the foreclosure notice requirements onto digital platforms.

On June 18, 2025, David will join Amy Heaslet, Executive Vice President/General Counsel for the Tennessee Bankers Association, in a presentation, “Upcoming Changes to Tennessee Foreclosure Law“, for the Tennessee Bar Association to discuss the changes to Tennessee’s foreclosure laws, including reducing the number of required newspaper notices of foreclosure sales and posting all sales and continuances online. The presenters will discuss how to comply with these changes that will take effect July 1, and answer questions from participants.

This presentation will be a one hour webcast, starting at 3pm on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Lawyers in attendance will earn 1 general CLE credit.
