David Anthony invited to serve as a Master in the Belmont University College of Law American Inn of Court

By Exo Legal,

David Anthony has been invited to serve as a Master of the Bench in the Belmont University College of Law American Inn of Court for the 2026–2027 program year. Masters are lawyers, law professors, and judges with fifteen or more years of experience, and they play a central mentoring role within the Inn.

The Belmont Inn is one of eight American Inns of Court chapters in Tennessee. Founded in 2011, it brings together judges, practicing attorneys, and Belmont law students to focus on practical skills, ethics, and professionalism in the practice of law. Members are organized into intergenerational teams — Masters, Barristers, Associates, and Pupils — that develop and present continuing legal education programs throughout the year, and Masters are expected to mentor first-year Belmont law students as they enter the profession.

“It’s a privilege to be asked to serve as a Master with the Belmont Inn,” David says. “The Inn brings together such a wide range of judges and lawyers from across Middle Tennessee, and, not only is there value in the mentoring that established lawyers can provide, it’s also lots of fun to interact and participate in the education of future lawyers.”

The Inn’s regular meetings run September through April at Belmont University, with programs eligible for continuing legal education credit through the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education.
