On November 10, 2020, Anthony Legal’s David Anthony taught a session to Tennessee real estate lawyers at the 2020 Real Estate Law Conference.

David’s session, titled “Navigating Common Ethical Issues in Real Estate,” focused on ethical issues faced by Tennessee commercial real estate lawyers, including advice on how to avoid some common traps in dealing with residential tenants and other pro se parties in real estate litigation and transactions.

Due to COVID restrictions, the Conference was conducted virtually by the event host, BLR (a division of M. Lee Smith Publishers). Other sessions at the all-day conference included sessions on Tennessee Construction and Lien Laws, Tenant Bankruptcy and Commercial Leases During a Pandemic, and a session on innovations in legal technology.
